1. About StreamModule
StreamModule gives Twitch streamers overlays, alerts, widgets and a chatbot. It is provided by StreamModule. StreamModule is in private beta: features can change, and it is free to use during the beta.
2. Your account
- During the beta you need an invite to create an account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
3. Your content stays yours
Images, videos, sounds and music you upload remain yours. You allow us to store, check, convert and play them, only to run StreamModule for you: for example, to show them in your overlays and alerts. We do not share your uploads, do not make them public and do not use them for anything else.
4. What you may upload
Only upload content you have the rights to, including the right to show or play it on your streams. For music this means music you made yourself, music that is free to use on streams (and you follow its rules, such as crediting the artist), or music you have a licence for.
Do not upload or use StreamModule for:
- content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
- illegal content, such as hate speech, threats or sexual content involving minors;
- malware, or attempts to break or overload StreamModule.
You are responsible for what you upload and for what you broadcast on your streams. Your stream platform's rules (such as Twitch's music guidelines) also apply.
5. Reports and removals
Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms with our report form. A person reviews every report. We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks the law or these terms. When we remove something from your account, we email you what we removed and why, and you can object; we then look at it again.
6. Claims from others
As far as the law allows, you will compensate us for claims from others (such as rights holders) that result from content you uploaded or broadcast in breach of these terms.
7. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep StreamModule running, but during the beta it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it is always available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost income from a stream. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence.
8. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in your settings; your uploads are deleted with it. We may end your access with notice, or immediately for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. For important changes we let you know by email beforehand. If you keep using StreamModule after a change, the new terms apply.
10. Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to a court elsewhere.
